Setup instructions for your


Alexa

  • 1. Get an Echo or Dot from Amazon.
    • We recommend setting up a separate Amazon account for your
    • Follow the normal setup instructions to get it online at your

  • 2. Add the free Skill

  • 3. Provide your customized answers
    • Go to our Owner/Manager Portal
    • Login with the Amazon account you created for your
    • Follow the instructions there to save your tailored content

Google Home

  • 1. Get a Google Home device
    • We recommend setting up a separate Google account for your
    • Follow the normal setup instructions to get it online at your

  • 2. Add the free App
    • Bring up the Google Home app on your phone or tablet. In the top left corner of the Home screen, tap the Menu icon, and then select 'Explore'.
    • In the search bar, type 'virtual concierge' and then select The Virtual Concierge. Click on the word 'link' in the blue box and sign in with your google account.

  • 3. Provide your customized answers
    • Go to our Owner/Manager Portal
    • Login with the Google account you set up for your
    • Follow the instructions there to save your tailored content

Enabling guests access to the Virtual Concierge on their phone

  • Now your guests can hear all about places to go and things to do before they even arrive. The excitement for their upcoming trip will be amplified with the concierge experience.
  • Whether you use Alexa or Google Home at your , the concierge is available on smart phones via Google Assistant without any additional content setup.
  • Here's how to provide the concierge to your guests before their arrival:
    • On eligible Android phones, the Google Assistant app is built in. On iphone, you can add it, here is a link to the app.
    • In the Owner/Manager Portal under the blue 'Residence' button, you will see a field to enter a passcode. Choose a 4-digit number and enter it there.
    • Inside Google assistant under 'Explore', type 'virtual concierge' and select the resulting item. Click on the word 'link' in the blue box and sign in with your google account.
    • When guests say, 'talk to the virtual concierge', they will be prompted for a passocde. When they say or enter the passcode you provided, they will have access to your customized virtual concierge.
